I'm a curious and well travelled midwesterner who loves to make photographic media and installation art. I've been a teaching artist and professor of Photography in Art and Film departments in Chicago, IL for close to two decades. My academic focus used art and creativity as catalyst for investigation. My favorite assignments incorporated cultural archives into research an artistic production, translating ideas into action and love making creative visions material.
